[WelMac] Introducing... Me

Hi all
My name is Bruce Billington. I have been a Mac user since 2001. I  
travel constantly so use a laptop - Macbook Pro 15" 2.2 but when home  
plug it into a screen and keyboard and pretend it is a desktop. My  
wife has a Powerbook 15" because I got the latest upgrade - she is a  
couple behind. We run Airport Extreme and use Express as a relay to  
try and keep everything wireless but have had our share of problems  
with this over the last 12 months, like, it seems, many others. We are  
both on Leopard.

I am a business consultant (self employed) and also do conference  
speaking. I  love Mac's and use mine extensively but nothing fancy -  
wordprocessing, emails, personal and business accounts, keynote etc.  
My problem is I am not that clever technically and have had to get way  
outside my comfort zone doing technical things such as setting up  
AEBS, troubleshooting problems, upgrading OSX etc. and am hoping to  
meet other enthusiasts who can offer some help and advice from time to  
time - and also help me use our Mac's more effectively.

I never travel without my Ipod (80G) and read Mac magazines  
voraciously in airports. Well, that is about it for now.
