[WelMac] Purchasing my first iMac

Hi all:

On a related note, I was contemplating upgrading my iBook next time I was in
the USA, rather than buying one here.

As I see it, the differences are that the US is cheaper (significantly:
20-25% when I last priced it) but you have to buy a 3 year AppleCare
guarantee to get any sort of cover in New Zealand. OTOH, if I buy in NZ I
pay more  for the harware/software, but it comes with a 12 month guarantee
and I get to support a local company who have generally treated me well in
the past (i.e. Magnum Mac).

Am I missing anything?
