You are exactly right.  (My oversight!!)  It's not until next year  
when they start the terrestrial DVB that the possibility of using the  
TubeStick arises for us.

Having recently helped various elderly relatives and  some non- 
technical friends to sort out their Sky-box (or cable TV) plus VCR  
and television set combinations, I've been thinking that these are  
decidedly non-user-friendly set-ups and it's high time someone put  
together a more idiot-proof combination with an elegant user-friendly  
front-end.!!

Having a tuner such as the Tube-Stick and/or Eye-TV that can be  
readily controlled by a computer would be a useful ingredient in such  
a set-up.  And I agree wholeheartedly with your remarks about the  
hard-drive recorders that are out there now.
