"For those Mac inclined - or drifting that way - WelMac is running a
Gadgetry + Movie - Meet and Greet on Saturday (3-5pm at Turnbull
House, Bowen St) - it's a kid friendly event (we dump the kids in
front of an Apple/Disney/Pixar movie) while the adults (grandparents,
members , friends, parents and older teens) socialise over coffee,
(beer/wine) and food and show and tell with their Mac related
gadgets, computers and stories."

So come along, bring a plate if you want (snacks provided anyway) -
and bring your children/pet electronic dog/pet computer - or a story
about how your spouse doesn't let you come to WelMac meetings because
they ain't fun ;) Or just bring yourself - and be prepared for a bit
of a social event. No pressure, no boffins is white lab coats, just
me geeking on my iMac, and a few other members showing you how they
use their mac related gadgets. If you're lucky we might try
installing Windows Vista on an intel mac just to show you why Mac OS
is still all good.

If I manage to edit it all together tonight (15:1 ratio) i'll have
the WelMac kids 1 minute movie - starring Frank Sinatra Jr. or was
that Fred Sinatra, and his umbrella raising singing talents to
Premier ;)
