Barry,
Did the PCI card Manufacture state it was usable on a Mac under OS 9?
There are a lot more drivers installed along with OS X than there
were in OS 9 and it is unlikely that drivers were available at the
time of OS 9 and the 7300. It would be worth checking with the
manufacturer specifically for your case. BTW there is no BIOS on a Mac.
