A few of you have probably upgraded to the new iTunes, and may have
noticed the Music Store banner at the bottom of all playlists, which
changes to show music store details of the song you are listening to...
I wanted to turn it off, mainly due to the fact it accesses the
internet every time a new song comes up.. but also because it is
slightly intrusive, and while Apple probably isn't recording what you
are listening to... they are sending info on each song to the store.
It didn;t seem to be draggable, and there was nothing in preferences
about it...
This feature is called MiniStore, and it is enabled by default. You
can turn it off in Edit-> Hide MiniStore [I searched the preferences
and help several times before Googling]
