[welmac-org] Magazine and committee

We might not have a quorum for a committee meeting. If necessary we 
can do an informal meeting for ratification next month. (I'd like to 
hold next month's committee meeting earlier in the month anyway.)

We'll proceed at 39 Wadestown Rd on Wednesday, aim to start magazine 
assembly line when Graeme arrives (as soon after 7 pm as possible), 
and do the committee meeting after everyone arrives.

DBD - I'll be there for dinner and any quick odd jobs that might need 
doing afterwards. :-)

Update on information received outside of this mailing list:

Shane is available, but may be late (after 8 pm) as he is starting a 
new job today and doesn't know what time he will be finishing on 
Wednesday. Labels can be added after he arrives. There will also be 
quite a few renewal letters to stuff into envelopes; I need another 
box of stamps.

Mike Griffin is not available. He has given me draft annual accounts, 
but we haven't finalised them for the AGM yet, and I don't have 
updated account details as of this month yet.

Don't know whether Kate will be available. Jo is uncertain at this stage.

Given Ed and Mike Welsh are not available, that leaves me, Graeme, 
David Denton and Shane, plus two possibles (Jo and Kate).


As far as future committee meetings are concerned:

Mike Welsh doesn't like Mondays and Ed doesn't like Wednesdays, so 
either Tuesday or Thursday seems the best option for a regular 
committee meeting day. If anyone has a major conflict on either of 
these days, please let me know.

I'll discuss the issue of start time with the others but I expect we 
will not be able to start the meetings much earlier as most people 
will have work or meal conflicts.

Finalised details to be deferred until after the AGM, once we know 
who is on the committee.

If anyone is intending to remain available for the committee but 
won't be present at the AGM, please let me know so we can nominate 
you in absentia.
