Nice, I dabble I bit in photgraphy, with a Canon IXUS too (4 Mp one) - it's great to have a camera that you can take anywhere.
A few of my photos are online with flickr: <http://flickr.com/photos/mangee> I use the FLickr Uploaded plugin for iPhoto, and am hanging out for a iLife '06 so I can get iPhoto to handle my 30,000 odd photos.
I have a few Windows accaintances that do Genealogy on Windows (Legacy etc) - it'd be interesting to here a bit about the Mac equivalents, God knows they have enough Windows problesm to warrant a switch, if they could be convinved that learning a new piece of software was worth it..

Hrm. I have a number of Hi8 tapes (MovieFest, Digital Expo, Parachute, Baby birth etc) i've been meaning to convert.. maybe we can hook up sometime ;)

I've seen a few people with similiar setups -- i'd be good to get a cheap VOIP endpoint/number service in Wellington.. Slingshot offer their interpretation, and a number of comercial offering sare out there for businesses. I'd love to take my "Landline" off line. ;)

Good to have you on the list,
I'm Jo Booth - WelMac Vice President, and New Media group facilitator. I've got an iMac G5 or two, as well as a garage full of older Mac/Apple machines, and and thinking of putting http://nzmac.org to some use.. :)
