[WelMac] OS 8.0/8.1

Hi

I've been helping a friend with an old Mac that he's just been given  
(a Centris 650).  He's using OS 7.5.1 and Netscape 2.0.2 with FreePPP  
for internet connection.

It was a real blast from the past racking my brains to get this lot  
connected to the Internet.  Success on that score and e-mail works  
just fine (for basic text anyway).

However, web browsing's pretty limited with a browser that doesn't  
even know about Java  and frames etc.

I'd like to help him to get as far forward as he can with the  
technology he's got.  I checked with MacTracker and found that his  
machine will work up to OS 8.1, and I've found Netscape 4.7.9 which  
will work on OS 8.1 and has some Java capability.

The problem I'm now facing is how to get OS 8.1.  I've long since  
lost or given away my copy of OS 8.  Apple has an OS 8.1 updater  
(which takes you from 8.0 to 8.1) on their website, but I don't know  
how to get a copy of 8.0.

Any ideas please?
