It seems to work well.  I've used Pacifist to do custom installs of  
packages and applications, and the packages have a list of where all  
the files go. Basically AppZapper gets that list and removes the  
files again.
Often deleting the application from your Applications folder only  
removes one small part of all the files an installer put throughout  
your system.. caches, preferences, library things, data files,  
startup hooks and more... it gets rid of the lot.

Great if you want to "try" some software, and not have to use a  
another account or other tricks to make sure it won't affect the  
performance on your system even after uninstall

Plus it's as simple as drag an drop -- instead of dragging to the  
trash - you drag to AppZapper.  great!
