So...

The new DivX codec beta works with QT 7.

FrontRow uses QT 7.

FrontRow is available "in the wild" for non-iMac's (and old iMacs),
and works well..

I have successfully applied the dual-monitor hack on my iMac, and
currently have a TV connected in the lounge to it via a 15m CAT-5
cable that was previously feeding the old TV (PII/233 mmx Compaq + TV
tuner + linux). I just need to hook in sound... the 3.1 is connected
to the Mac at present, and the remamin 2.0 is still attached to the
(now) Dead DVD player in the lounge.

I'll await this weekend with glee.

All I need now is a Apple Remote and Receiver:
The Apple Remote can control your iPod...
