[WelMac] SCSI HD Problems

I recently acquired a 7300 with a G3 upgrade card, for the express  
purpose of running OS 9 and playing some games (-:

Anyway, the HD went kaput and now it won't even mount at all, not  
even when I boot off a CD. I would simply replace it, buy my spare HD  
is ATA, not SCSI, and I can't see a way around this.

So, is there a way to get an ATA drive into a SCSI interface, or do I  
need to get a new SCSI drive?
